      CD-ROM Server 

    The CD-ROM server tower or rack system contain a thin server and a bunch of CD-ROM drives that are connected directly to your Ethernet network. It works on almost all networks. Works well with data and program discs that are networkable, but doesn't work with non-networkable discs such as some educational and game discs.
     
     It adds the capability of caching CDs  to the built-in hard disk, as well as adding CD-recording capability.     It not only allows you to share CDs , it also provides Network Attached Storage (NAS) RAID storage using inexpensive IDE drives. This flexible multipurpose system also allows you to archive data to CD-R or even DVD-R media. Works well with program and data discs that are networkable and most audio discs, but doesn't work with non-networkable discs such as some educational and game discs. 
     
    It is a very high performance system that supports thousands of discs and Streaming Audio and Video capability. You have a choice of IDE or SCSI hard drives. This CD caching system is guaranteed to play any disc you have. It will work with educational discs, games, audio and even DVD video discs that are not encrypted.
